Light Gauge Steel Housing Development Projects

Turkey lies in a region that has experienced major earthquakes throughout history. In areas with high seismic risk, buildings constructed using a light gauge steel building system are increasingly preferred to minimise the risk of loss of life.

Following the earthquakes in early 2023, housing developments were built in Nurdağı, Gaziantep, and Battalgazi, Malatya, for thousands of earthquake survivors who had lost their homes. Shipping and assembly were carried out simultaneously across both projects.

Our priority was to provide earthquake survivors with homes built using the Steelin light gauge steel building system, one of the fastest, simplest and most reliable construction methods for earthquake safety. To achieve this, products were prepared to enable the fastest possible production, logistics and assembly processes; all structural analysis and production details were developed with the most demanding conditions in mind.

Drawing on many years of experience, we combined architectural aesthetics with technological solutions in Steelin light gauge steel structures, providing shelter for those in need as quickly as possible without compromising on quality, safety or science.
