Prefabrik Yapı A.Ş., a Hekim Holding company, prefabricated the 48 light gauge steel villas at the Ak Yelken complex in the Awaza region of Turkmenistan.
The Ak Yelken complex opened with a ceremony attended by Turkmenistan’s President Gurbangulu Berdimuhamedov and numerous senior government officials.
By undertaking the prefabrication of the complex’s 48 light gauge steel villas, Prefabrik Yapı A.Ş. added another project to its portfolio, earning praise for the villas’ modern architecture.
The villas in the complex, which is located on the Caspian Sea coast and took approximately 2 years to build, were constructed using Hekim Profil and the Steelin light gauge steel building system. Non-combustible fibre cement boards made from natural cement and manufactured by Hekim Yapı A.Ş., with a Euroclass A1 reaction to fire classification, were used for the external façade cladding. Hekim Panel sandwich panels with rock wool cores were used for the roofing. Built using the latest technology, the villas formed a holiday complex serving the people of Turkmenistan to international standards.
Speaking at the ceremony, Turkmenistan’s President Berdimuhamedov said, “The successful activities of Turkish businesses in our country are clear evidence of the increasingly productive partnership between our countries across various areas of interstate cooperation, built on the unbreakable friendship, centuries of shared history and cultural ties between the Turkmen and Turkish peoples.”
Expressing satisfaction with the strong relations between Turkmenistan and Turkey, Berdimuhamedov thanked President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan for the particular importance he attached to developing cooperation between the two countries. Berdimuhamedov stated that Turkey and Turkmenistan were brotherly countries and that Turkmenistan was considered the historical homeland of the people of Turkey.
